The piaX-Technology

With piaX, ERP data is not only read but also written back. piaX synchronizes ERP data with MS Exchange mailboxes. Through Exchange synchronization, the data is distributed to users. Contacts, calendar entries, and tasks are available on smartphones. Any changes are written back into the ERP system. Data exchange takes place via Outlook/Exchange, so piaX can be used without a VPN. Sophisticated filtering options make it easy to control the amount of synchronized data for individual users or entire groups.

…work offline

Even without internet access, you can create activities, new contacts, or DMS documents in the piaX Outlook add-in. Once you reconnect to the Exchange server, your data is transferred to the ERP system. This eliminates the need for re-entry and improves data quality.

…synchronize data bidirectionally

Thanks to our close partnerships with proALPHA and abas, we offer customers a standard bidirectional interface to their ERP system. It not only reads data via the application logic but also writes it back.

…rely on a central data basis

Whether in MS Outlook or your ERP system, your employees always work with the same data across all devices. Data is stored centrally in the ERP system. Thanks to our new piaX technology, entries are never lost, even when multiple users work simultaneously.

You decide which employees receive which ERP data in piaX. These settings can be defined in the piaX Management Center for entire user groups or individual users.

…adopt ERP system configurations

piaX automatically takes over all field names, selection lists, and field descriptions from your ERP system, including DMS. This means you don’t need to maintain, for example, industry or representative lists separately in piaX. A positive side effect: field and office staff continue to use the same terminology when referring to ERP data. Terms like contact, customer, or representative remain consistent.
