Origins and Early Development

2007: Introduction of proALPHA as the ERP system at itCampus in Leipzig.

2009: Initial development of piaX as an offline and mobile application in cooperation with proALPHA to optimize field service operations.

Founding

2012: Establishment of mobileBlox GmbH through the spin-off of the itCampus division.
Goal: Further development and marketing of piaX, including as an Outlook add-in.

Technological Development and Product Expansion

  • 2016: Comprehensive technological redesign of piaX and the first release of piaX Service. Launch of Object Management as a CRM extension for proALPHA and Outlook.
    2020: Introduction of new modules such as Travel Expense Management, Object Management, Forecasting, and fully integrated Route Planning at initial customer sites.

Innovation and the Future

  • 2022: Development of new features such as Quote Pre-Entry and Call Management. Planning for the piaX App begins.
    2025: Planned release of the mobile app, featuring numerous new functions (quote creation, route planning, DMS, partial statistics, scheduling).
